Birmingham Unicorns was established in 2020 as a proudly LGBTQ+ inclusive cricket club, providing a place for people passionate about cricket to come and play and socialise.
We are the first and only LGBTQ+ inclusive club in the Midlands and were only the second such cricket club in the world!
We have built the club so that want everyone who joins can have the freedom to be themselves.
Unicorns welcomes everyone, including allies, who want to enjoy cricket in a friendly, supportive community environment.
We play our home games at Lapworth Cricket Club (south-east of Birmingham) and have training sessions in Weoley Hill, Birmingham.
Each season we play a mix of Sunday friendly 40-over games mid-week T20 games across Birmingham and the Midlands.
We cater to all playing levels and we welcome everyone to come down and play, watch or socialise whether you are an experienced cricketer or are totally new to the sport.
